Dubai Knowledge Village, launched in October 2003, places Dubai on the map as a destination for learning excellence. Its 1km long picturesque campus provides a supportive environment for a variety of knowledge based entities including prominent international universities, training centres and learning support entities.
The thriving knowledge community was founded as part of a long term economic strategy to develop the regions talent pool and to accelerate its move to a knowledge economy.
It is home to over 200 entities forming a connected community of knowledge based partners and its Universities originate from diverse regions including Australia, India, Pakistan, Iran, Russia, Belgium, UK, Canada and Ireland.
Dubai Knowledge Village seeks to provide the right environment for the development of scholarship, education, training, creativity, innovation, research and development, and entrepreneurial expertise.

This world-class educational hub is home to International Universities including the University of Wollongong, the University of Southern Queensland, Middlesex University and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
